On Saturday 26 September we held our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. We served coffee and cookies and chatted with our guest retailers and visitors. Our guest retailers www.justsosilver.co.uk and www.crystalangels.co.uk brought along some wonderful and unusual gifts. Lynn and Pete's jewellery is so unusual and they are both so knowledgeable about their products - each one has their own story. Amongst Crystal Angels products they had Fairy Dust - may be this is the way to get through the Credit Crunch - sprinkle some fairy dust onto your business! They also had some beautiful handbag charms and crystals.
We are also selling Macmillan Chocolate Lollipops and chocolate gifts from our Edibles range for £1.99 with 50p being donated to Macmillan. If you would like to buy one just pop in the office we have a few left. How do you choose a charity to support? Macmillan is very close to my heart - the help and support they provide is second to none. Not just to the people with cancer but also their families and friends.
We had so much fun that we have decided to do it again and maybe invite more guest retailers to come along. So keep a look out for our very own Christmas Market towards the end of November - we will be making use of our front lawn and will have some unusual and unique gifts - edible and unedible to show you!
